The Podcast

LoveSpeaks: The Podcast is Father Connor Danstrum, pastor of the Newman Center at UIC in the Archdiocese of Chicago and Father Ryan Adorjan, parochial vicar of the Cathedral of St. Raymond and Sacred Heart parish in Joliet. They are two priests, talking about life, spirituality, and a lot of random things through the lens of the Sunday readings.

Why “LoveSpeaks”? Once, during a difficult time with a good friend, Fr. Ryan asked Jesus, “do I speak to this person or not?” The Lord responded, “Love speaks.” When Father Ryan asked what love says, Jesus replied, “Freedom.” The aim of the podcast is to talk about the Christian life, anchored in the Word of God, as a journey of freedom.

One day, long ago, in total freedom, God broke his own silence and spoke into the formless void. God is love. Therefore we can say that love speaks.
