A blessed Solemnity of Christ the King!! In the homily I reflect mainly on the second reading, this weekend taken from St. Paul’s awesome letter to the Colossians. You can find all the readings from this Sunday by clicking here.
I made a little mistake this week:Â Quas Primas, the Encyclical from Pope Pius XI establishing today’s Solemnity was published in 1925, not in the years leading up to World War I as I said in the homily. I also said it was called “Quas Primi”, which of course it isn’t. D’oh.
